Yes, Aeter is correct. C/C++ are the way to go.
As far graphics is concerned, SDL is preferred. But OpenGL ES 1.x is also okay. (OpenGL 1.x might work too, depending on the game)

If it's in Python, it could work too but i'm not used to that language.

What language should I look for in a Tetris game? There are tons of these and I just want to see one ported someday.
Best tetris game is Tengen Tetris in the arcade, petfectly playable with xmame on GCW

Actually no, FS-UAE is based on WinUAE (i think) while UAE4ALL is based on a very old version of UAE  (but fast)
that is only capable of emulating the Amiga 500.

I actually don't know its dependencies but surely, there must be a reason why no one has attempted it.
It's fairly CPU-intensive too

I'll leave it here, you might want to look at it one day. I've been searching for this game for a while and realized developer shared source code. People made it use SDL2 libs and it has pretty basic control layout.
