Request: Table Hockey game
« on: June 26, 2014, 08:48:15 am »
I really want to play a table hockey game on my gcw zero. I suggest the joystick to control the puck. It can look something like this.

If you make a table hockey game for the gcw zero, i will give you all my bacon
I'm back. (for the third time) :P

Me too.

This is the closest thing I could find, close but not quite - O Pong:

Download link: https://app.box.com/s/7ucn1jw0xb3t0srksw5d

It's an old freeware DOS game that runs under DOSBox on the Zero.

As it is, you have to use the virtual keyboard to get it to play.

It controls with the W/X/D/A and Space buttons - so if someone can figure out how to assign them to the d-pad, stick or face buttons, it'd be playable.  Is such a thing possible under DOSBox or zerox86 - anyone know?

Thanks but that bacon belongs to the person who can configure the controls properly.

Although I will take a couple pieces ( :

I'm determined to get all that bacon.

Here's something you might enjoy - it's a game called Indoor Sports for the Amstrad.

Here's a screenshot:

You need to use the emulator Caprice32 to get it to run on the Zero.

Here's the page for Caprice32:  http://boards.dingoonity.org/gcw-releases/caprice32-%28amstrad-cpc%29/

Once you load the game, to get past the title screen press F on the virtual keyboard to get into the game (you press Start for the keyboard, then left trigger and then X for the letter F).

You control the paddles with the the directional buttons.  It's pretty fun.

Shufflepuck Cafe is this type of game. It was one of my favorites on my amiga. I see there is a dos version too, but I am not sure how well either of them run on the gcw.

Edit: there is a nes version too! I just found some gameplay trying to google you th amiga version. I am totaly going to check it out myself.
