Repository & Questions

Any info on repository for the multiple apps, emulators, games, etc.

Some may need a $hopping cart?!!!

I would love to pay for AWESOME devs apps ... while they learn and grow.

Experiments, educational, etc... the list goes on...

We could also use a type uniform format for game porting, app creation, app suggestion, and BOUNTY! offers!!!

There are a few things I would love to see on this unit, as far as everyday apps!

Calendar with google sync
Contacts with google sync
Email app
Media player
     Music with controls... screen on/off with visual effects ect.  (how many hours of music with screen in off state?)
     Chip tune player (oh yeah!!!)   8)
     Movie / Video player
     Radio... both internet radio and built in radio with record functions
     Podcast app
     Picture viewer / slideshow
Audio recording, audio notes etc.
Themes / Color schemes  / Icon editor
System sounds / editor
In game screen captures
Kitchen sink (I know, right   ::)

I believe you have a smartphone. So , you don't need to use you gcw-zero for those things :) , it's a gaming device, not a portable Xbox One :D

The built-in radio player is being currently worked on.

Press power + Y for that. But note right now it works only with programs running in 16bpp mode.
Alternatively you can use fbgrab via telnet. It works with both 16 and 32bpp modes. That's how I captured all the screenshots from the website and the back of the box.

Will the Power+Y screen capture daemon work on the Gmenu2X frontend as well? It would be useful for previewing Gmenu2X skins and themes.

No, because gmenu2x runs in 32bpp mode. Until we fix that bug, at least.

The screenshot feature works well with 32bpp, so it will work for gmenu2x. Zear, update your FW ;)
