Sure, contact the creators:
http://www.axiomverge.com/author/

Being a copyrighted work, they'd either have to port it, and sell it on the Zero, or let someone else use the source code to port it for them.

This would be really awesome to have on the zero.
Chances of it happening are rather slim I should think. But if we don't try we shall never know.

Axiom Verge uses MonoGame as a game engine.
You would think that the fact it has Linux support automatically mean that the GCW Zero is supported.
Not quite because :
- It needs to be able to target the MIPS architecture
- It should support OpenGL ES 2.0. It really doesn't help the fact that etnaviv is still a buggy mess...

Even if MonoGame claimed GCW support out-of-the-box, the Axiom Verge devs will still not port it. Why ?
Because they are way too much obessed with money and would rather release their games on Xbox One.
Yeah...

It kinda makes me wish the GCW Zero was using the x86 arch.
Unfortunely, the x86 arch has its own drawbacks as well and most of the bioses cannot be customisable and are proprietary...
If not, well, a stronger MIPS processor would have been great.

To be honest I have it on PsVita and it's a bad metroid clone, without the charisma and good ambient of the metroid saga. I prefer playing Super Metroid than Axiom Verge.

Pretty much like Gunlord for Dreamcast,  a clear attempt to make a new "Turrican" game, but without the quality of the original.

If you like axiom verge, there's a gba demo by the same guy called Orn.
Try it on regba, its worth a play.
