Hi Guys,

This is a really addictive game that Ive been playing quite abit on my phone and everytime I launch it I think to myself "man this would really really kicka$$ if it wasnt on a [email protected]#$$ touchscreen" and was wondering if it could be ported to the gcw?

Pixel Dungeon is absolutely free, no ads, no pay-to-unlock features. I'm making this game for fun and I'm not going to monetize it. Update 1: Since the version 1.6.0 it is possible to make a donation right from the game (there is a semi-transparent button on the main screen) as an in-app purchase.

Pixel Dungeon: desktop version
About

Thanks to @Arcnor, Pixel Dungeon is now available for playing on PC/Mac/Linux! Please consider, that the desktop version is still in beta state. Also, not all features, available in Android version, may be implemented on desktop platforms.

Here is some additional information:

    Currently the desktop version is based on v.1.7.2a, i.e. it's one version behind Google Play. It will be updated.
    The desktop version is not an exact copy of the mobile one. For example, keyboard support was added.
    In mobile version some actions can be performed with long tap. In desktop version they can be performed in a similar manner with long click. Alternatively, you can use ctrl + click.

    It runs on any system, but you need to have Java installed. Java is a rather common thing, so chances are it's already installed on your computer. If not, you can download it here.

I think it'd work better as a reimplementation. Java is currently too demanding on the GCW Zero.

I read on the community wiki that someone is planning a multiplayer mod so this might also add to/enhance GCW's multiplayer repertoire!

I can just imagine it ... handheld 2-D diablo on crack multiplayer action! Or maybe this is just a pipe dream ???

Theres also a fork of this game called "Shattered Pixel Dungeon" which is open source as well. I also found "Your Pixel Dungeon" which is the same as the original but with the addition of a tutorial and a planned map editor.
