testing new OpenBor

It works well in most games I've tried, but some few games have top and bottom black margins. The game Double Dragon Gaiden is seen in a small little picture at first (in the previous version is full screen). Other PAKS I've had, as I said, are full screen.

Some PAKS as  Streets of Rage Z Return of the hero (v2), Streets of Rage Sillent Hill o Streets of Rage 4 Silent Storm Demo V2  continue not work in the new version OpenBor.

this is how you should see this game (full screen). Double Dragon Gaiden

- Dungeons & Dragons Warduke
- Fatal Fury Final
- Mortal Kombat The Chosen One
- Golden Axe Genesis 3.0
- Guardian Heroes Warpath

- BARE KNUCKLE VACUUM v4.01
- Streets of Rage Z Return of the hero (v2)
- Double Dragon 3
- Double Dragon III The Dragon Stone
- Saint Seiya Death & Rebirth
- TMNT Red Sky Battle

- Bare Knuckle Next Generation
- Streets of Rage Sillent Hill
- Mortal Kombat The Chosen One

Si dejas pulsado hacia abajo, no funciona.

Thank you superfenix for the feedback,i will try these problematic games  your report in my gcw zero and i will upload a video from my youtube channel:

- Dungeons & Dragons Warduke
- Fatal Fury Final
- Mortal Kombat The Chosen One
- Golden Axe Genesis 3.0

For the other games you mentioned (Loading problems) i m dont have any interest to test it because its possible the engine its outdated and we are waiting for  the final release of the OpenBor app.In the final release David Knight will update the engine and do more stuff from the openbor app.

Loading problems list games:

- BARE KNUCKLE VACUUM v4.01
- Streets of Rage Z Return of the hero (v2)
- Double Dragon 3
- Double Dragon III The Dragon Stone
- Saint Seiya Death & Rebirth
- TMNT Red Sky Battle

Here this new video i uploaded:

<a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20201030162428/https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JioNmM0RkFM" target="_blank">https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JioNmM0RkFM</a>

Sorry to put a little my voice there in the video my father talked to me :( ,anyway as superfenix reported some games doesnt fit well in the tiny screen of the GCW Zero. The only gamepaks in their condition are ok to play it are Mortal Kombat: the chosen one and Fatal Fury Final. Those two games i mention the only downside are the letter fonts are too small its difficult to see in the gcw zero screen but the gameplay its perfect. The rest of the list games have the same problem reported thanks to my friend superfenix,in the final fixes for the openbor i hope we can force all the games pak with panomic mode 16:3 force to fit the screen on the GCW Zero using openbor app.

I'm back, I'm working on improving compatibility. Here's a screenshot from the current build (it's still slow and buggy at the moment but it is playable).

David's back suckers,
He's ready to kick ass and chew bubble gum.
David Knight from NewCastle is back for the quest of Sangraal,
HE'S THE TRUE PATH TO NIRVANA !

I wonder how you even got things to work properly, OpenBOR's source code is such a MESS. (Multi Emulator Super System)
Good luck david

Heman is now rendering and playing correctly with SDL2, not full speed unfortunately but at a playable speed. The black bars are because it is a 16:9 resolution.

I did also try a higher resolution game (Badass Babes 1920x1020 I think), it runs but not at fullscreen.

There's still a nasty bug causing crashing at the menu screen sometimes but otherwise it's taking shape nicely now.

Seeing people wanting things like this makes me wonder why they even ordered a GCW0 with its lowres screen...
Any reasons why you use SDL2 instead of SDL 1.2 ? Don't tell me BoR already dropped support for the later...
Good luck with BoR, can't wait to see it finished.

The latest engine is only using SDL 1 for the Dreamcast, so I either had to modify the Dreamcast code or compile libSDL2_gfx myself and use SDL2. It also allows me to add haptic(rumble) support when the current bugs are ironed out with the next firmware release.
