Hi Everyone,

I just got my zero a few days ago, and have mostly everything up except for OpenBOR. Can anyone tell me where to place the PAK Files?

I have tried /data/local/home/.openbor

and also /data/local/home/.openbor/Paks/

they go into /data/local/share/openbor/Paks/

Problem solved. Thank you! I haven't touched OpenBOR since my old xbox days. Very excited to fire it up.

Does anybody know if there is a method to run the "closed source" games (.spk), like Golden Axe Myth?

I can't get this to run. All it does is show the splash screen then exit right back to gMenu2x. Help?

without pak files, it exits.

the paks go into /data/local/share/openbor/Paks/

if i remember correctly, if there are no paks, it may exit (not sure of this, though)
if there is only one pak, it automatically runs it (if the pak has errors, it may crash)
if there are 2 or more paks, it will show you a list, for you to choose.

As ruffnutts said (and me a few posts earlier) the paks must be in /data/local/share/openbor/Paks/

Turns out the pak files weren't completely copied over. Downloaded them again and transferred again and they worked this time.

This OpenBOR Mod is made very well (when I was a child I was a big fan of "the Masters of the Universe" !

... the native resolution of the game seems to be a WVGA (800x480 px), in the case of GCW Zero a potential problem could be the QVGA (320x240 px) downscaling...

It was working fine, I updated the latest Firmware and now OpenBor doesn't find any PAK.
Do I need to remove and install it again?

The OpenBOR doesn't work properly with the latest firmware, it doesn't recognise the PAKs folder anymore... it will need a fix...
