After playing it a little more, I've got to revoke FLESHCHASMER's "working" status. I hadn't played it before trying it on the Zero, so I just assumed it was supposed to play the way it does. Playing it side-by side on my A330 shows 2 obvious differences:
1. On the Zero, it plays WAY too fast. Dialogue and status updates scroll off the screen without ample reading time, and your character is pretty tricky to control.
2. Random enemies do not spawn. You might think this a plus, giving you an opportunity for a low-level speedrun. But without leveling and re-equipping with the exp. and loot given by random enemies, the first boss will kill you in 1 hit.
