OPK caching by name on GCW Zero?
« on: August 04, 2014, 01:47:44 pm »
I am trying to get a Code::Blocks project template set up that will help me (and other people) quickly develop SDL applications for the GCW.

One issue that i have run into is that if i make an opk that has the same name as one i have previously executed the gcw will run the older version. If i restart the gcw or i rename the opk something unique the problem goes away.

Does gmenu2x attempt to cache the opks that it executes by name in some way? i have ensured that i am doing a clean then build and that that actual checksum of the opk i am pushing across has in fact changed.

Any thought / help would be appreciated.

Yes that's a known bug. You can type "sync" via telnet to fix the issue. I will fix that properly for the next firmware, so just ignore the bug for now.
