.dts/dtsi files for the GCW0?
« on: January 01, 2015, 11:51:08 am »
Hi Guys,

Was thinking of compiling linux 3.18 for the GCW0(for fun) and was wondering if I would need .dts/dtsi compiled as well files to have it boot up? If so where can one find the dts files? If not how is the GCW0 hardware included into the kernel?

Thanks

Hi,

We currently don't use devicetree. The gcw0-specific file is arch/mips/jz4770/board-gcw0.c

The plan is to move to devicetree soon, but I can't get it to work (that's WIP).

How do you test/debug without serial o/p or anything?
