DIV GAMES STUDIO + GAMES
« on: November 17, 2015, 07:40:48 pm »
Dear all

I have ported div games studio to the GCW ZERO console as part of my current attempt to support as many platforms as possible.

Please enjoy this short video of Bert the Barbarian, one of the nicer looking games made in DIV

Nice! It looks like a mix between DKcountry/SNES, clay fighter, and Chuck rock!

Amazing combo ;)

Seems a bit overkill to port DIV when BennuGD was already available and (mostly) compatible.
I take for granted you ported DivGO, right ?

In any case, it's still interesting to see some DIV/BennuGD games being ported to this handled.

This is not DIV-GO, this is genuine DIV2. DIV-GO is javascript.

There is a javascript port of this  same engine, a demo is online at

If so then how could you port DIV2 to GCW0 ?
I thought DIV2 was a closed-source commercial project,
unless of course you have reverse-engineered it from scratch.
If that's really the case then i'm pretty sure some people at bennugd.org would be interested by your project.

Looks Interesting,

Anyone know a good resource of games? I tried the basic googling and couldn't find much, seems like all the old forums and links I can find are dead..

I'm trying to recover the div-arena archive. So far I have about 400 files to upload

Yes! You'll be able to create opk files from div  (on windows, linux, osx) or load the prg from within the div ide on the gcw itself although the usefulness of the ide on the handheld will be limited
