[DMenu] DekUI [FINISHED]
« on: November 12, 2009, 09:41:52 am »
All icons have been replaced with the icons created by Deleket, or hacked together using his icons as a base. Few icons have been made from scratch by myself, as well (C64, Amastrad, SMS, MSX, PCE, Atari, etc.). I enjoyed putting this together, and I hope others make good use of it.  ;D

Developed using Local32a
DOWNLOAD
Preview image is the images all hacked together in Photoshop. "DekUI logo" does not actually show on wallpaper.

And here's a couple of screenshots of DekUI on a real dingoo:

The only thing I don't like about this theme is how the "Display terminal" icon shows a drive letter and a backwards slash, despite the fact we're on a linux device :D
Besides that it's really polished and I think I'm gonna set it as my default theme. Now just to figure out how to make it work with dmenu 0.4 without the selector segfaults..

Yeah I made it under the dmenu that was released with local32a. I didn't notice there was another up to date version until 3/4's of the way through it, lol.

For the faults, maaaybe try editing the theme cfg, and use the default font file, "FreeSans.ttf". I ran in to that issue a couple times putting this together. Not sure if that's it but might be worth a look.

wow, i find solution to install this in dmenu 0.5, just copy the DekUI "res" folder to Dmenu Themes -> Base folder ans replace "res" folder. And Dingux select Default theme, :P And wallpapers go to Dmenu Wallpapers folder .. :)

NICE! I'll have to add this to my Toddler pack. I'm also thinking about adding INTEGRALv1.0 if I get the time.
