Great release, super mario rpg runs perfectly, i love it!! I think general speed is improved over the last release too.

one issue I'm having, this version doesn't seem to run Secret of Mana with the text fixed like your last release did. Is there something different I have to do to enable hi-res mode?

thanks for doing so much to make snes emulation better

It does. But other than doing Highres Mode everytime (this slows down), I detect the ROMs which needs Highres. I think you use a Secret of Mana rom i don't know. Please enable logging in gmenu2x and tell me the romname from the log file.

You can also force the use of HighresMode.

Just use the commandline options i wrote in changelog.

Code: [Select]
-nohi or -nohires commandline option for non-HighRes mode
-hi or -hires commandline option for HighRes mode

This is so cool!

Super Mario RPG, Star Ocean, ToTR, and Steet Fighter Alpha 2 on your Dingoo?!

Please, I hope in the next release, you add CX4 support to play later Mega Man X games (X2 and X3)

+1 karma for you.  :)

Hey man, thanks.
Is it possible that in the menu it, puts that chips is using the ROM?
I suggest because the savestate in SA-1 games is not tested and you recommend not use...

Now for the SuperFX and DSP-x :) requesting is free hahaha

(Sorry my english, part automatic translator...)

Thanks! All the good feedback motivates me.

@Kronus: Of couse. I think C4 emulation should be possible too. But i don't think FX is possible (i mean playable).

@jevilon: yes of couse...but currently i'm working on other stuff. take a look in wikipedia...here is a list of all games that use snes special chipsets.

Its really great having more compatibility , but i hope you can do something about better performance ,are there any other mips based snes emulators worth looking into?PocketSNES for eg, Thanks again for your efforts

Having frameskip in menu is great also

Id prefer speed over compatibility  ;)

Since the game is begging, I'll jump on the bandwagon as well.
How about Action Replay/Game Genie codes? I suck, so need cheating ;D

Cheating is possible.

Yay! I love cheating ;D
I tried hex editing my Secret of Mana.srm, changed the money value for savegame 3 in 0x86D and 0x186D (just to FF to try), and this corrupts the save :(

hey, ive been away from the scene for a while (left shortly after dingoonity went up). i just got gmenu2x working and i can load my other apps (i only have fba320 and mame4all). but when i run snes9x4d.dge, it doesn't launch, it just reloads the menu. surely im doing something wrong here.
