Psx4all V.8.1

About:
- Changes in the code;
- Frameskip poly initially disabled;
- Framekip image initially disabled;
- Decrease the size of the binary;
- Small changes in the menu, and selecting items on the options;
- * Added PSX CLOCK to 400;
- Selector PSX CLOCK now jumps from 10 to 10;
- To enter the menu press SELECT + START;
- To exit the emulator press SELECT + START + L + R;
- To increase the PSX CLOCK press SELECT + X;
- To reduce the PSX CLOCK press SELECT + Y;
- Cycle multipliquer back to the 10th;
- Fixed small bug in selector Interlance acount;

Includes:
- Psx4all8_bios1000;
- Psx4all8_bios1001;
- Psx4all8_bios7502;
- Dingoo Converter 4.1.1;
- Bios: 1000, 1001, 7502;
- Read me;

What is PSX CLOCK?

Psx Clock was always present in psx4all, but ended up not being accessed because the shortcut was:
SELECT + UP, and allowed only 200% overclock;
Psx Clock is a kind of "overclocking" emulator, much like Cycle Multipliquer,
but the difference Cycle Multipliquer gives an overclocked hardware, as Psx Clock software.

How to use PSX CLOCK?

The more you increase the PSX CLOCK, decrease frameskip, reducing the legs caused by
part 3d of the game.

Attention:

PSX CLOCK Unlockable only after passing through the bios and to start the game;

-TABLE-

PSX CLOCK

100%: until 17/18
200%: up to 7/8
300%: up to 4/5
400%: up to 3/5


That is 300% or 400% may even eliminate the need for frameskip;


Note: Always run the game with the correct bios, thus enabling maximum use of multipliquer cycle,
and reducing the bugs;

but i have some question..
1.if increase psx clock will make dingoo cpu frequency be increased?
2.in graphics options menu,there cant use 'L' button return to back menu..
3.when use SELECT+X or SELECT +Y cant see how many psx clock has be changed..

...my lcd also is 9325...when set intercount at 1 ,psx clock can be clearly see ...
i find another bug..when load a game savestate ,it cant select dir to browse to the savestate file..

I Opendingux to use tests.
The problem in the save directory in the other there was always psx4all.

i use dingux..not OD..
by the way..can add a function that can set default game's roms dir?thus can put PS's ROM at any where..thx
and about dingooconverter..it's font colour is green,that difficulty to be see clearly..can change font to other colour?

Hi !

I have a question about the interlace option. How it function ? The emulator works in interlaced or progressive natively ? In that case, is it possible to generate a real interlaced mode to gain frames and make disappear the black lines when the option is activated ?

Oh my god! I'm so happy to know someone is still updating psx4all. I hope the emulation quality rises a lot!

I've thought about the possibility, and I think the secret is to use more light in lcd Opendingux pressing Power Off + left or right.

When the Dingoo Converter in the future I'll do it in the text color (green because I put a football team :)).

strange...

why some 3D games speed very fast...but some 2D games speed is very slow.. ::)

That's not strange. A 2D game is not easier to emulate. In fact, the 2D games on PSX are made just like 3D games, with polygons and textures.

Yep, just look how hard to emulate is Symphony of the Night.

but on pc ,i use ps2emu..3D game very slow,and 2D  game is quick..

if ps4all can increase 2d game's speed ,that will good!

But the PS2 is a totally different beast than the original PS1. So even if PS2 2D games are easier to emulate, that doesn't mean anything for PS1 2D games.

That PSX CLOCK blow my mind, from the day of release until now i don't get it how it works. Just like magnets.
