And snes9x was not made by virusmaster but by drowsnug95.
Also, my build of Picodrive is obsoleted by the one ValdikSS built so you can remove mine from the list.

** 1/12/12 **

Added dingux-7800 by flpstrquerendoumdingoo!!! to the list
Changed the name on uNGP, UPCE and uSMS and Snes9x to the right name
Removed PicoDrive by Ayla

***********

Maybe we should use this thread for OD apps: http://boards.dingoonity.org/dingux-general/opendingux-developer-pre-release-2-application-compatibility/

Because if they moved to a third release then everyone will be looking at that new thread and since the wiki disappear i thought it will be a good idea to share all the OD apps because I know I've over looked a few threads.

I don't understand your explication about the other list.
You have to know that there is lot of dingux apps comptatible with OD, so make an OpenDingux apps only is useless in my opinion.
Anyway have you try one of the emulators you write on the list? for example why do you put dingux-7800 by flps? its a beta version without sound...Of course i think flps will solve that but for the moment the port by Ayla run very well.

I think his reasoning is that since the other topic, as per the subject, seems to target only OD PR2, this current topic would be a more generic one that encompasses anything that's compatible with whatever the latest OD release is, so no need to create a new topic when OD is updated.

I'd agree that's a weak reasoning though, and the other topic does have a more comprehensive and informative list, although it's a little outdated. But it's outdated only because the original author wisely understood that this list should be on the wiki and so moved on to maintaining it on the wiki, but since the wiki is offline for a good while now, this again begs the question I've been asking over and over without a single answer: it's been offline for over a month now, is it ever going to be back online, and when? is anyone even working on it? more importantly, do we at least have an updated backup of the wiki before it went offline? Because I've contributed some stuff myself too (including updating of emulators list for OD), and I'd hate to know that we lost all that stuff and all we have is some incomplete Internet Wayback Machine archive from almost a year ago, that someone posted here on the forum as a "backup" a few days ago.

If anyone has an updated proper backup of the wiki, please let me know, I could try to setup a backup wiki that we could use until the official wiki is brought back.

Well afaik, an apps comptatible with OD Pr2, will be with the futur OD release isnt'it?

And the problem will be the same when bloodyred will be bored to update the list...

Btw i can help about wiki, is there something i can do? For exemple i updated a comptatibility emulators list for every release (native/dingux/Opendingux) on dingoo mania, the french community. I can copy and paste these on a new wiki.

omgomg answered about the wiki here: http://boards.dingoonity.org/offtopic/what-with-dingoowiki/

So, there are two options:
- Wait for someone to make a new wiki
- Be the one that makes the new wiki :P

@virusmater, most of the content has already been saved. [...]  (Emphasis mine)

If "most of it" was saved, I wonder in fear what has been lost. Didn't they have a backup procedure for the wiki?

Well, I'm done waiting, so I'm more than willing to setup a new wiki, even if a temporary one until omgomg comes around to setup the official one. Is Surkow the guy to go to for the backup?

Setting up a wiki is not the problem, and I'm not complaining about this thread. Although, this thread probably wouldn't even exist if we still had a wiki - what you're trying to accomplish with this thread, while it's a good thing, was (and still could be) done much more conveniently with a wiki, so it ought to be in your interest too that we get it back up.

But whatever, I'll stop "complaining" in your thread now. To whomever is interested to know in how this problem with the wiki develops, head over here.

Since it seems we do have a wiki that is hosted here on dingoonity.org I started a page for OpenDingux working apps. I haven't added everything from this list yet but it would be better then just updating this thread all the time

OpenDingux:Applications

If you want to update on it them be my guest and the reason why I didn't just edit the normal OD page is it doesn't make scene if we just keep adding apps and it keeps getting bigger it seems we be better off to just start with a page of it's own.

There were a lot more listed before the original wiki went offline. That's why it's important that we could restore a backup of the most recent (november) revision of the wiki, but as it seems from the latest posts here, it looks like that's not going to happen, so we've got a lot of work ahead...

It's the page I started

We are mostly not going to get a backup so I started a new page and starting adding stuff from the first post

I'm too lazy when it comes to wikis so I most likely won't add the rest that is on the first post so if someone wants to do it then feel free because that is what wikis are for.

Edit: err nevermind seems someone has been working on the wiki http://wiki.dingoonity.org/
