OpenBor Dingux Port

OpenBOR Dingux Port v0.2.1 - Loading Time Quick Fix - 23/12/2009

This is a port of OpenBOR (http://lavalit.com/) for Dingoo-linux.


Installation
- Copy the OpenBOR directory somewhere on your filesystem
- Set your menu launcher to execute ./OpenBOR.dge
- Copy yours paks files to the "Paks" directory
- Have fun!

v0.2.1 (23/12/2009)
    * Fixed the prolonged loading time issue from the latest release;
    * Based on OpenBOR v3.0 build 2559.


v0.2 (21/12/2009)
    * Fixed 16bits colors issue, now mods like 'Ryuko no Ken Nekketsu' displays correct colors;
    * Fixed memory calculations issues;
    * Based on OpenBOR v3.0 build 2536.


v0.1 (15/12/2009)
    * First Release;
    * Based on OpenBOR v3.0 build 2504.

This is great. Do you have some kinda Iconfile? Then i would integrate it in the new localpack im working on.;)

I wonder which version of roms it use?There too many versions of pak files there(Psp,Xbox,Pc and Wii).

First of all.Damn you're great!!
I have tested several games(*.pak) and all of them run so well.
But I have a problem.
NightSlasherX is spk file format and can't be detected by OperBor.
I renamed it to .pak file but failed to load.How do I play this game??

I guess it?s not overclocked, and i can confirm it works fine with the old rootfs too. Got the same problem with Nightstalkers X as volcanic, any tips?  ???

It's not overclocked, runs at native clock  ;)

I am new to Dinoonity but I do post on OpenBor forums and was wondering if anyone has tested the PC versions of the .paks and if they run the same as the Gp2x .paks? I do not know the difference of the two and believe they should run just fine. Please let me know because I am just waiting for my Dingoo a320 in the mail so I can't test at the moment. I would greatly appreciate it.

Dont really want to sign up to another site to get OpenBOR .pak`s can someone post them - I might try the pc and dreamcast ones,

@ ikonz, i tried some pc paks aswell as gp2x ones and had no problems so far.  :D Except Nightstalkers X, maybe you know a solution to make a pak from a spk?  ;D

eule: I believe that NightStalkers X had problems on the Dreamcast as well. I believe there was a version somewhere that wasn't .spk but I could be mistake. The .spk is so people can't mod that particular game. Its sort of protection so people can't steal the work that has been done. I will look for the other version and see if I can find it.

Update: I believe all versions are .spk now. Even the PSP version is .spk and that one takes a while to load on the PSP. It is a huge game but if Shil-Nil can get it running it will be a blessing. Shil-Nil if you read this contact SX on OpenBor forums and he can give you advice on how to get the .spk paks to run. I hope to see NightStalkers X running on the a320 :)

eule: Could you test this game out and see if it runs correctly: Ryuko No Ken Nekketsu (PC Version). If you like River City Ransom and Art of Fighting this is a must have mod. Its great and very well done. I hope it runs  ;D
