It works great for me! No frameskipping needed =)

I just have one question: once in-game, how can I access the emulator's menu? Start+Select doesn't work, neither using the power swith.

Err... You didn't try that hard  :P
The menu is mapped to X.

Wow! Now I'm feeling really stupid!
Thank you very much!

EDIT: When I load a game, open the menu, change the frameskipping to OFF and then select "Return to game" my Dingoo freezes =/

When it freezes use hold up on POWER and press SELECT.
It will force quit back to the menu. Really useful.

Side note for anyone in regards to volume, leave the Emulators volume on, and lower it in-game by using the gobal hotkeys.

POWER + Up/Down = increase/decrease the sound volume.

Enjoy!

The menu it's blocked and I can't browse the folders. If I put the roms in there, they don't appear.

The latest build doesn't have a built-in ROM menu. So you probably have an old build.

Oh. Ok. It's one with a pink screen. Anyway, I'll download the latest. Thanks Ayla.

Does this follow the settings in the main menu (gmenu2x?) for volume? No matter what I change the global volume and the volume for this program to, it's deafeningly loud when I load a ROM.

Just use the OD's shortcut [power]+[up]/[down] to regulate the volume.

There is no problem in being a noob, rename the extension from xz to gz and try using WinRAR, 7Zip or Filzip.

Eh, it's not a GZ file. But the apps you listed should open it just fine.

Im really having trouble running most games, which run super slow, especially the pokemon games which at my estimate run at like 5fps or something. Overclocking doesnt seem to help at all. There is also an issue with frameskip, changing it in the pokemon game makes the dingoo freeze.

You need to add the BIOS yourself

Where should it be located? I'm trying to run it in the "official" OpneDingux, copied GBA.BIOS in the gpsp folder, use the file browser, and when loading a ROM gpsp just goes back to the browser.
Thanks!

*EDIT* nevermind, I figured it out. Anyone else, you need a GBA BIOS, name it gba_bios.bin and put it in the gpsp folder.

I encountered a really odd bug. If i used the save state alot during a long play session, sound became horribly scratchy in river city ransom ex. When i played another game the sound was fine. It appears it only happened in this one game after many save states. If you up the sound buffer to the third option, the problem eventually clears itself. Just thought everyone should know if they have the same issue. GpSP was otherwise perfectly stable and very fast!!
