Giana's Return v0.997
« on: January 01, 2010, 01:00:10 am »
HAPPY NEW YEAR FROM THE GIANA'S RETURN TEAM :)

Giana's Return aims to be a worthy inofficial sequel of "The Great Giana Sisters". "The Great Giana Sisters" is an alltime classic Jump'N'Run game made in the late eighties mainly by Armin Gessert, Manfred Trenz and Chris H?lsbeck and gained massive attention as "Super Mario" copy, but still had it's very own charm and fanbase.

This is a brilliant port of a brilliant game, thank you Slaanesh and the GR team.

The Giana Sisters theme song has been a favourite of mine for many years. Here's an version performed by a full orchestra that gave me goosebumps the first time I heard it:

AFAIK, the Dingux binary can only officially be obtained from the GR website. Perhaps you should try emptying your cache and downloading it again.

Giana's Return Dingux Backup Download: http://dl.openhandhelds.org/cgi-bin/dingoo.cgi?0,0,0,0,35,246

(Unfortunatly the upload f*cked up, so make sure you download the file when it's around 17MB - the fresh upload needs to be confirmed by EvilDragon first -might happen the next few hours)

PS: Using a download manager might help too :)

This plays very smooth, but seems a little bit slow. Is there a way to increase the game timing so it plays faster?

Thanx!
