Yeah, i tryed but but with no success and strange behaviour (sometimes even impossible to boot as the card was impossible to mount) and one time i could switch off, but the next time it was freezing again every time i tryied to use something that write to the SD.

It doesn't matter cause using my Standard Dingoo SD, it works very well.

GP2xpectrum crashes immediately on starting

You can use unreal speccy for zx-spectrum, it run on OD

if we set "Selection Browser" to "OFF" and don't clear "Selector directory" - selector browser will still work
can you set start button to select rom in rom selection, and select button to exit from it? it more useful
and delete all non latin keyboard and add on it often used chars like "-"? now keyboard are very painful))

"Selection Browser" simply means that you can change the browsing directory. If you set it to OFF, but have "Selector directory" set to some location, you'll be able to browse only this one dir, without being able to "go up" in the filesystem.

Weird problem

hi..i have a little problem...I just cant acces nand.Theres no other folder in media but mmcblk0p1.
   I installed opendingux in the folowing way: i changed the rootfs and kernel with opendingux ones, i changed their name in rootfs.bin and zImage. The local pack is the same i used in normal dingux.
        Did i install opendingux correctly? Is there something else i have to do to be able to acces nand?

 PS: i searched a lot for some tutorials or guides for opendingux installation but i found nothing...
  I just want to be able to load games from nand while using dingux

Please run that file on your dingoo, using gmenu2x' Explorer for instance. Then, copy here (or upload on pastebin.com) the content of the file "dmesg.txt" that will appear on the root of your SD card. This might help us finding the problem.

It looks like almost every block is considered bad. Maybe there is something wrong in the way we interpret the bad block table. We'd have to create a NAND dump of the first few blocks to see what is going on there. I'm not sure yet what is the easiest way to do that.

On a small note, that annoying buzzing noise that I used to hear when using legacy Dingux is gone. So, I'm already a fan of OpenDingux.  ;)

hi..i have a little problem...I just cant acces nand.Theres no other folder in media but mmcblk0p1.
   I installed opendingux in the folowing way: i changed the rootfs and kernel with opendingux ones, i changed their name in rootfs.bin and zImage. The local pack is the same i used in normal dingux.
        Did i install opendingux correctly? Is there something else i have to do to be able to acces nand?

 PS: i searched a lot for some tutorials or guides for opendingux installation but i found nothing...
  I just want to be able to load games from nand while using dingux

I downloaded Opendingux prerelease version 2, renamed the appropriate files, and copied them to a freshly formated sd card. when i turn the unit on, the dingux screen comes up, but it never gets any further than that.  i'm positive i'm doing something wrong or missing something. I would greatly appreciate some help on the matter. The firmware for my dingoo is 1.22. not sure if that makes a difference. Thanks in advance. :)

Not sure if I can help, but I'll try.

1. Make sure you downloaded the correct files for your screen model #.
2. Download the "Kernel " (.bin) file. Do not rename it yet.
3. Download the "Root file system" (.bin) file. Do not rename it yet.
4. Make sure the SD card is formatted as FAT32. DO NOT use "Quick Format".
5. Rename the files exactly. "zImage" & "rootfs.bin" the zImage file should NOT have an extension. Nothing at the end of it.
6-Optional. Don't download Toolchain, unless you want it. (Only include it after Dingux runs for the first time)
7. Move the renamed files over to the SD card. No folders.
8. Start up the dingoo. Make sure the SD card is being detected via the file explorer.
9. If it's detected, shut down, power on, hold select, and boot into Dingux.

Btw, I did that once myself. Windows 7 always wanted to put an extension on it, XP doesn't care. Haha  8)
