A Herdless Sheep
« on: September 28, 2010, 11:50:28 am »
Well, Herdless Shep is absolutly useless and painfully slow application for generating 'flame fractals' aka sheeps.
(see http://flam3.com and http://www.electricsheep.org for details )
You've been warned, so don't shout at me ;) (I'm just learning how to write programs with SDL :) )

Link: http://uploading.com/files/3f3568m7/sheep.zip/
Installation: unzip in /usr/local
Usage: select = quit, start = new fractal.

A fractal flame generator? Well, I wouldn't expect it to be anything but painfully slow, given the time they take even on PC :D

Good work anyway ;-)

I am unable to make this run.  I have the latest kernel by Sience and when I run it, it shows the splash screen then drops back to the menu.  But when it get to the menu, it has disabled all input and I am forced to do a reboot.  Do the files have to be in a specific place or am I doing something wrong?

Executable (sheep.dge) can by anywhere.
But flam3-palettes.xml *must* be in /usr/local/share/flam3/ directory (i.e. local/share/flam3 @ SD card)
