I think some of you are missing the point.
I don't know for sure, but in my opinion, the value of a tool such as megaram is that loading roms with large file sizes might be possible. It is highly doubtful that an increase in speed would result, but if bigger programs could be loaded... well that opens up a whole new era.
And anyway, in the field of computing, since when is an abundance of useable ram (even if only as a swap file) overkill? Is there any such thing?
