« on: June 28, 2012, 04:13:39 am »
I'm embarrassed to say i don't know how to change the wallpaper in opendingux. I'm sure its simple, and if someone else has already asked then please accept my apology. Otherwise i could use a quick tutorial. thanks in advance.

Go to the Settings tab, select Wallpaper, select a file.

Most of the included wallpapers are not so great though, maybe someone could create a few better ones? We do need images for which the copyright holder agrees with including them in our gmenu2x fork, so either original work or something with a GPL-compatible license.

Would it be possible to have the ability to add your own wallpapers? I don't see the option to do so. Am I too assume that you have to recompile gmenu with your own wallpaper included?

Just put your wallpapers (in PNG format) inside local/home/.gmenu2x/skins/Default/wallpapers and they will appear in the list.

Man I am a noob.....  I was about to throw my A320 against the wall because I couldn't work out how to change the wallpaper...  Turns out I was in the 'Gmenu2'x folder and not the 'home' folder.  Thank you Ayla for saving my Dingoo.
