Flash script won't appear
« on: November 06, 2009, 08:12:22 pm »
Hey Everybody :)

Today I tried to flash Dingux on my Dingoo.
I fallowed everything correctly using the complete idiots guide.
But when I use the commando's via prompt, the flashing script won't appear on my dingoo.

screenshot: http://www.plaatjesupload.nl/bekijk/2009/11/06/1257533485-930.jpg

I had to reset and I came back to the original firmware, so it isn't flashed.

I use Windows XP Professional SP3 and I am the administrator of the computer.
The USB driver I used is "jz4740".

What am I doing wrong?

I hope somebody can give me some tips or advice.

Thanks in advance :-)

Is it possible that you forgot to uninstall the China Chip drivers, as per the idiot's guide?  That's an easy step to miss and forget to do.

EDIT: Got it to work. Problem for me was that I wasn't resetting and holding B, I was resetting, turning off, and plugging in the cable with B held. Don't do it that way, it won't work.

I'm having the same problems as in this thread. I've tried all these solutions and looked through this thread (http://boards.dingoonity.org/dingux-general/dingux-dual-boot-problems/msg582/#msg582) and can't seem to get it to work. I've got the 9331_3 LCD and I'm using Win-XP.

The frustrating thing is that I've gotten it to run three times total, but now it won't run at all! First installed dual-boot months ago (using Linux), then, after a complete NAND wipe and re-flash of new firmware, reinstalled two days ago (using XP) then used the dual-boot script to re-flash the original firmware (still XP) and now it won't even show up when I enter the commands.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers countless times, tried using different cables, different combinations of holding down B and resetting/powering up with it plugged in and before plugging it in and nothing is working. Has anyone else overcome circumstances like these, or have any as of yet secret silver bullet?
