You only need to boot the kernel. Nothing more.

The patch file is only, if you want to compile the kernel yourself. Use a newer gmenu2x version to get rid of the gmenu2x loading problems. The one from QI works fine.

The other instructions are the same a psgroove or other PSFreedom hacks. Just use google or watch a youtube video about it ;-).

thanks SiENcE

by the way i got the last official gmenu (from january)
do you have n link for the one you're talking about?

well that's just the thing, single player is boring, multiplayer is fun (sometimes) even on console's, i rather have multiplayer capability then the capability to play *backups*

For the life of me i can't get the ps3 jail break to work at all!

Done everything over and over again but nothing.

Iv changed the zImage from original to one found in the exploit folder ( matching my lcd)

Iv booted up the dingoo into dingux which boots up all the way ( not like iv sen in videos) and then plugged into my ps3slim

Iv plugged the power cord into the ps3 then pressed the power button followed by a quick press of the eject button

The ps3 loads up as normal i go to the games section and have a choice to install some files but when i click to do so it says it can't find any!

what am i doing wrong? sure its something to do with the dingoo rather than at fault at the ps3 end.... anyone care to make an in depth how to

if you have the 2 news options to install some files as you say, you maybe need to install the manager.pkg that comes in a different package and must be copied on another USB key plugged in the other port of your PS3.
But it works, and you can even still play with the Dingoo while trying to back up your PS3 favorite games !

Yes you can use a external drive and yes you do have to have the dingoo every time you switch on the playstaion 3
And use the manager but as long as you leave the ps3 on you can unplug the dingoo  and use the manager as much as you like :-)

well that's subjective, depends on what games you like, besides i own both xbox360 and ps3 so i can get a taste of both, both have their cons & pro's But still i used to play pc games before i had any *real* console, and i played online games before any console was capable of doing this. I once was the best unreal tournament (original) player in belgium (and won many prices) went to many lans etc, eventually the (belgian) friend who i teached the game became better and he went to WCG (world cyber games in korea) etc so i still know that cpu / ai players are quite predictive or follow a certain patern that are easily to counteract, while a human player (when he's good) always remains unpredictable, thats eventually also what makes the line between skilled and *just good* players ;) so yup Multiplayer > singleplayer

joy, i see your point, but multiplayer on consoles just seems to suck, along with not having a mouse for fps's
(you really need to get over here to one of our lans, i know someone that needs a goot beating at ut  ;D)

Doesnt work on A330

seems to have an gmenu2x problem.
still in scrolltext and loop the error

by the way, where and how to apply the patch kernel file?

Does work on a A330 just tested it - like I said mine still boots in to gmenu2x
Must run in the background  :)
