The normal zImage I had before worked fine, so I don't think it's the SD card?
Is it possible I didn't configure or install the mplayer files correctly instead? Or maybe this new zImage for Mplayer isn't quite compatible with something on my system?
This is what I did:
-------------
dingux-mplayer basic readme:
1. copy the appropriate kernel-image to your sd and rename it to zImage -
I used the patched version from http://a320.freeforums.org/mplayer-with-rmvb-supported-for-dingux-t1512.html2. copy mplayer.dge to local/mplayer or anywhere else on your sd
3. copy config and input.cfg to home/.mplayer -
I only saw input.conf so I made a copy of it and renamed it to input.cfg. There's input.cfg AND input.conf in home/.mplayerYou can either create a new entry in dmenu like:
MenuItem MPLAYER
{
Icon = "res/media/gmu.png"
Name = " Mplayer"
Executable = "./mplayer.dge scrat.avi"
WorkDir = "/usr/local/mplayer"
}
