How to send parameters in the command line?
« on: June 12, 2011, 08:42:08 pm »
Hello.

I've been trying to use a GameBoy emulator (Dingux Gnuboy) but when I select sdlgnuboy.dge it just shows the output of a "terminal" screen and then reboots Dingux, it's so fast that I can't even read what's written on the screen.

Well I've read the manual and I learned that I should pass the name a GameBoy ROM file as a parameter when I run the program, but how am I supposed to write anything in the command line since Dingoos don't have keyboards? (I'm using Gmenu2x if you ask me).

Thanks! :)

1) Move the selection over the menu entry of gnuboy
2) Press SELECT button
3) Choose "Edit gnuboy"
4) Select the "Selector Directory" option and set the directory where your roms are to be found
5) Set "Selector Browser" to ON if you want to be able to browse for roms in other directories as well (optional)

The next time you launch gnuboy it will first show a list of roms you can choose.
