Dingux Boot Screen
« on: April 01, 2010, 06:41:08 pm »
I installed the Dingux dual  boot, with Dingux as the primary OS. When I turn it on it shows the word Dingux and the web address on the screen. Is there any way I could put a custom image there instead? I'd like to put the title screen from Frisky Dingo up on it for the couple seconds while it loads =)

As far as I know, you'd have to recompile the kernel with your own image in XPM format. (At least that is the way it works on the Wiz- I've not actually looked at the boot screen stuff in Dingux)

the dingux screen is the boorloader, not the kernel, so you'd need to make your own bootloader to change it
