basically not all cpu's are created equally, it's something to do with the manufacturing process not being 100% accurate. They'll have a standard they have to enforce when manufacturing, but that wont extend to overclocking. I've got the same issue, i get about 400, 408 is generally stable but locks up sometimes. 430 will lock up almost immediately.
