Title: [Resolved]Some games dont display properly.
Post by: fasman on August 20, 2011, 08:02:04 pm
Hi I recent dug my old Dingoo old of the closet and decided to update it (followed the tutorial on the wiki as if doing a clean install) everything works but some games have display issues the colours are all wrong and it seems to be the wrong resolution.

The games this happens on is: ZDoom , hheretic, Quake r2 tec

Any ideas?

hm, maybe the wrong rootfs ?
you should try the "minimal local pack".

I'm actually using "minimal local pack" as I was told the others are out of date, should I try a older one?

Edit: Just checked minimal-local.tar.bz2 doesnt include rootfs, I was using the rootfs file from "dingux_system_20091022_plus_ILI9338.zip"Could this be causing the problem?

Edit2: swapped with "Dingux Filesystem and GMENU2X setup pack" and it now works lawlessly :)

Minimal pack indeed does not include neither a kernel nor a rootfs. The problem you're experiencing is related to the very old versions of kernel/rootfs. Please upgrade them to the latest versions from here:
