Open Tyrian - A version that don't crash?
« on: June 13, 2010, 08:11:44 pm »
I'm currently using toddler Dingux Local Pack v0.35.
When i played Open Tyrian it crashes when i get to one of the last bosses (not sure if it's the last or not).
I googled it and found out more had this thing.

Do anyone know if there is a fix/later version? (i didn't find any)
Or do anyone that knows how to code want to look into it?

If someone tells me how i can see the error message, i can post it here for referense.

yes, i asked him to release it some months ago, but still no release...

i suppose he will be busy with other projects...

until his version is released, you can download opentyrian for your PC, copy your savefile to the PC and play the bugged level there.
then save the game and copy the savegame to the dingoo again. http://code.google.com/p/opentyrian/

Fortunately this only happens once in the game... in third episode, in a level called "?"

Yea exactly.

Ty alot... will copy my save and try it out.
Already have it on my pc, to try out that boss.
It's a boss with lots of parts (balls) moving around. Might be to much for the dingoo?

Once again, ty alot for the save-file info.

nope, i think it will be some kind of bug when loading that part of the level, or maybe the specific sprites...

hopefully, slaanesh' port will have no bugs... and he said it is faster than the current one...
