wow nice release!

I notice some emulators have ROMS folder and some not, so do I have to make the folders like they are in other emu's?

btw if I run snes9xd4 icon, I end up in filebrowser?

Some Snes9x starts the roms directly from the filebrowser, just put the roms in the Snes9x folder (or make a subfolder there). You can always edit, where Snes9x looks for the roms by pressing select on the Snes9x icon and choose "edit link".

Most emulators let you choose, from where to load the roms from. If you have 2 Nes Emulators, you don't have to make 2 Roms folders, just load the games in Emulator B from the Roms folder of Emulator A or alternatively make a central Roms folder on your card, wherever you like.

If you use gmenu2x got to the Icon and press Select. There you can "Edit" the prefrerences. Choose Filebrowser.

whats meant by NOTE: For license reasons, these files are not in the SD image so you have to provide them yourself or download them elsewhere.

does that mean i'll have to find all those files he mentioned online and put them into those locations? im pretty new to this and what to make sure i have an idea what im doing. As in find duke.rts, duke3d.grp, game.con, ultramid.ini, user.con, defs.con AND gba_bios.bin of the internet and put them in said mentioned folders?

thanks OP for making this too!

Excited to try this new localpack!  Just downloaded the 3 parts, but just curious, what's the difference between them?  After I extracted them, they appear to all contain the same content.  Am I missing something?  Thanks for all your efforts!

Um, it's a split archive to save individual download size. I.e. they are not different files, they make up one larger file.

It worked 2 weeks, now after letting the dingoo recharge via wallsocket to usb for more than 1 hour, it suddenly can't boot dingux anymore.. although all the files are present when looking up in XP.

Oh well reformatted the thing and copied everything again.

Is it normal that when I change the global gmenu frequency, the frequency indicator doesn't change?

There is no global frequency. I think you adjusted the frequency which is used when running gmenu2x. ;)

It says "clock for gmenu2x". Okay, so why after I adjust it the frequency indicator in the center of the bottom bar still stays at "336Mhz". Is it not working or am I misinterpreting things?

Its the clock used when your are in the menu. The frequency displayed in the bar is the one which is used when you start the selected link.

Thanks. That clears things up.

I tried searching the forum for the anwer, but didn't find this one. It's kind of confusing because usually you would expect that the frequency in the status bar is the current frequency of the CPU.

I realize it's already been requested, but could somebody please re-up these files to a different server? Netload.in, fileserve.com, and hotfile.com are all good. Thanks!  :)
