Dingux local Pack 0.33b
« on: December 16, 2009, 09:57:55 pm »
So people here it is:

Quote
local pack 0.33b

Added:

- DekUI Theme
- special DeepGux Theme (missing many Icons)
- zImage 9331 from vimrc without IPU (9325 is included too)
- some more wallpapers

- Supertux v0.1 (Icon only in DekUI)
- OpenBOR  v0.1 (Thanks to Shin-NiL & volcanic for icons)

Fixed:

- removed duplicate wallpapers
- globalised the themes (fonts)
- put ScummVM from ports back to emulators
- shutdown works again
- displaybrightness in systemmenu
- set dimmerdelay to 10

Todo:

- Reminiscence needs files?
- many icons were todo
- better screenshots of themes (hellsing, base, toddler, simple)
- sort apps/games alphabetically
- remove brightness from systemmenu

I hope you will enjoy it. I have not tested all apps, just give some feedback if something doesnt work correctly.

And of course Thanks to toddler & Chriss23235 !

Thanks Santino downloading right now.

EDIT: Maybe you wanna try 7z as a packer, it packs the file much more efficient then zip and the whole pack ends up under 200 MB.

This may be a dumb question, so please bear with me.

Does this local pack include the Elta's custom toolchain rootfs?  Reading todays posts about Heretic and Hexen have me intrigued.

Had no problem extracting the archive with WinRar, changed the extender to zip, worked fine.

And I used elta's rootfs, but you should use the new version, cause I think he updated it to rootfs20091208 and I used the version 20091206.

Hi Fellas,

Ehh,are these seperate packs (0.33a and 0.33b).>?

Or should i unpack 33a first and then overwrite it with 33b?

Thanx

0.33b is a seperate pack. It contains is all you need. I would make the suggestion, if any of us makes an update pack in the future, that we make clear in the Filename, that it is an Update only, e.g. local_pack_0.33b_only_update_files. What do you think?

That's a good idea, make it completely clear to everyone if there's an "update pack". Will save half a billion repeated questions in each thread!

+1 to you and the OP for doing this work!

I think this was my fault. Because the old localpack was 0.32 and the update was 0.32a. But this is a full autonomic localpack.;)

Its easy enough that any full package should be a new incremental number, while any update packages should just be an A B C suffix.

Stick to that and we should be golden.

A break from Toddler's numbering scheme may make sense as well too maybe?  This could be Dingoonity Local Pack 0.10

Thats probably not as necessary though.

Archive is corrupted. I get alot of errors when extracting with WinRAR. I downloaded it twice from the mediafire mirror.

EDIT: The megaupload one is fine.
