It doesn't matter where you put it. What matters is that you have to add a link to in in dmenu config.

Dmenu configs can be found in /local/dmenu/themes/[your_theme]
There should be the following files in that dir:
Code: [Select]
menu_apps.cfg menu_emulators.cfg menu_game.cfg menu_media.cfg menu_ports.cfg menu_system.cfgYou have to choose the one you want to put your application in.
Open it up to see how things look like.
It should be self explanatory.

An entry in such a file goes by the following rules:
Code: [Select]
MenuItem your_app_name
{
Icon = "res/games/your_icon.png"
Name = " name_visible_in_menu"
Executable = "./your_app_executable"
WorkDir = "/usr/local/path/to/your/app/dir"
}

./ stands for current directory. It's the one specified in WorkDir field

I haven't tried installing that game myself yet, but I think you need to have some songs in order to play it.
This looks like some song-packs:

Well, I just installed that game and it works fine for me.

That's my dmenu entry for it:
Code: [Select]
MenuItem beat
{
Icon = "res/games/alice.png"
Name = " beat2x"
Executable = "./beat2x"
WorkDir = "/usr/local/games/Beat2x/"
}

Be sure to check if you use the newest kernel/rootfs.
".ogg file is unrecognized music format" doesn't sound good..
