Stella - Atari VCS / 2600 for Dingux released

Hi All,

Stella is on of the best emulator of Atari 2600 game console, running on many different systems, such as Linux, Solaris, Windows, MacOS/X, WinCE, OS/2, GP2X.

It has been written initially by Bradford Mott, see Stella site for details.

Here is a port on Dingoo/Dingux of the version i've previously ported to GP2X-Wiz

Many new features have been added compared to original Stella version, have a look to the README for details.

I would write sth. like " Stella - Atari VCS / 2600 released "

I saw this at dingoo-scene too, but, wasn't this released like 3 months ago? Is there a newer version than 0.1?

It's a totally different port. ZX ported the Stella version, he adapted for the GP2x over to the Dingoo, the other one was a port of the standard Stella sources, without any great changes.

This port is excellent. The menu system is well done and very manageable with great features.

The first release of Stella had small problems with sounds of some games. For example, River Raid, my beloved game, the sound are in different pitch. This emulator has a more faithful sound, almost in the same pitch. I loved it because I really love to play River Raid ! ;D
