Is it just me? How can we get these other emulators to run as good as Pico Drive. I mean the NES emulator should have no problem right?
It's not really that simple. NES should run fine, and it does (I haven't tried NESEMU in a while. It didn't work that well when I used it though. On the other hand, nofrendo works very well). Genesis/Mega Drive is generally easier to emulate than the SNES though.
Additionally, Picodrive is a very well optimized Mega Drive emulator, specifically optimized for ARM and MIPS processors, with years of development behind it. Snes9x also has a lot of development behind it, but it's development specific to Dingoo's MIPS processor and hardware hasn't gone on that long. It'll be a while until Snes9x works as well as picodrive, if that's even possible.
