How do I load the NESEMU onto my Dingux? Using Local32 pack.

How do I update my dingux with the NESEMU emulator.  I have deleted Nofredo,  and put the NESEMU folder in the emulators folder,  put its not on my Dmenu...do I need to get an icon for it?  And if so,  where do I put that file?  Thanks,

Hi,

You need to replace the nofrendo text in the emulators.cfg in the Dmenu so that it points to the Nesemu file. The icons go in the Res folder of each theme you are using.

Find the emualtors.cfg and open it with notepad. You will see the Nofrendo entry, should start with Menu item Nofrendo or something like that.  This needs to be replaced so the the script points to the Nesemu directory and executable, you can also change the name and icon to use here as well.

Alternatively you can keep Nofrendo and out a new entry so you have both

Hope that helps!

I have never seen anything for a res folder in the "themes" folder at all.  I just put all my icons in the local/dmenu/res/emulators folder.

Are you using Toddler's local pack, or the booboo one?

I'm pretty sure I use Toddler's pack...and, as far as I can tell, I only ned to put my icons in one place.  Then again, I haven't played around much with Themes, I could honestly care less about Themes...I'm more interested in looking at games than fancy wallpaper...so I only use the default theme.
