Help with gpSP
« on: March 23, 2014, 12:38:05 pm »
I have installed gpSP, of the latest version from the wiki, set up gpSP in the menu, but I'm unable to run any roms. I put the bios in /local/home/.gpSP/, but when I run any rom gpSP will start, show a black screen for about a second, then send me back to the menu. I have checked the md5sum of the bios to the listed one online. Am I missing something or did I not install it right?

this is probably caused bye the rom selector issue again. That I know of, all Opendingux emulators currently need to use OD's selector path. If you go to the releases topic, you will find a thread called ReGBA. At this point its a better GBA emulator for OD. If you can't get gpsp working, try ReGBA.

you should put bios in the same folder as executable file, local/emulators/gpSP_v2011-09-16_OD/gba_bios.bin not where you are.
