Snes9x sdd1 support, breakthrough?
« on: January 19, 2010, 02:40:21 am »
Let me keep this brief.  I looked for the Snes9x sdl 1.39 for the dingux and think I found.  Opened up this source and am like "what how am I supposed to compile" like srsly cause it has all these .makefiles and .c and .h~ and w/e.  But I figured, "hey, if I can get the source for the newest version of snes9x, and take the sdd1 emulation sources, pop it in there, compile, and put on dingoo, wouldn't I have sdd1 support?"  So basically I did just that.  I put the sdd1.c, sdd1.h, sdd1emu.c and sdd1emu.h into that sdl pack.  I still don't know how to compile.  It'd be pretty neat if I did cause chances are I'd be able to play star ocean on there but.. Does anyone have any ideas?

Edit: oops, can this be moved to dingux development, went into wrong thread

Maybe someone should do this, who knows what todo.

But i also want to play Star Ocean on Dingoo :).

Currently it exists an expanded version of star ocean, which do not need SDD1 support. The problem is, it's an *.gb3 file and Snes9x can't play it.

Here is the patch:

It's only playable with GameDoctor on nativ SNES and i think with "Super Sleuth" Emu -> http://users.tpg.com.au/advlink/spx/
