I'm think I'm using the latest public OD release on an A320.

Code: [Select]
opendingux:/boot/local/home # uname -a
Linux opendingux 3.4.0-dingux-00051-gd072b59 #244 Sat Jun 16 21:24:47 CEST 2012 mips GNU/Linux
opendingux:/boot/local/home # which python
/usr/bin/python
opendingux:/boot/local/home # python
Python 2.7.2 (default, Jun 16 2012, 17:01:49)
[GCC 4.7.1] on linux2

I don't think the built-in command-line executer works, but the scripts should be working just fine.
