Hold button daemon?

Is there a daemon or some kind of script to look for the hold button position and disable the keys if it's pressed?

Nope. And I hope there never will be.
Dingux detects power button down as KEY_PAUSE and it's very useful for games that require some additional keys, like my port of descent, where I mapped power button as a map.
Apps, where hold mode might be useful can just use KEY_PAUSE to lock all the other buttons. But it's up to the programmers, of course.

Maybe somthing could be built into gmenu2x so when the hold is on the keys are locked and the screen is dimmed, but leaving it free to use for other purposes in apps, when gmenu is closed.

You can make a background app like fbgrab.

and i agree with zear, this key is useful, this kind of thing should be entirely optional. ;)
