Heroes of Might and Magic 2

There is a free heroes 2 engine written in C++ using SDL here http://www.ohloh.net/p/fheroes2. I'm looking forward to port it myself, but dealextreme is somewhat slow with my dingoo delivery, so I can't do that now. However, it should be possible as the engine supports QVGA displays. With some changes of the mouse control, it might be even playable.
I will start making the necessary changes now, but the major work will most probably be done only when my dingoo arrives. Stay tuned :)

sounds good

d-pad mouse control wouldn't be too bad being a strategy game, however i'd imagine the small the screen might make it a bit squinty, but still a worthwhile game all the same

Well.. I ported it :)
The game is quite playable, though the fights are a bit slow.
I still need to make some small tweaks and will probably release it in the next 1-2 days :)
