FBReader/QT porting to Dingux
« on: July 02, 2010, 09:46:13 am »
Hi, all

Since was post from Peter that he ported QT embeded to Digux. (see this)
I decide to compile the fbreader with QT4 support on dingux. It was successfully.  ;D
After copying all needed libraries and creating the wrapper for laucnhing the fbreader it runs but only black screen apeared for 1 sec and we return to the dingux.

Compiling:
I'd got this source that ported the batman52, I chaged only the target from gtk to qt4.
Get on the VM last qt libraries for i386 and mipsel platform.
Run compile and it was successfully.

Installing:
Copy all qt libraries to /usr/local/lib.
Copy all ZL*, libbz2, liblinebreak and libfridi libraries to /usr/local/lib
Copy some resources from data folder to fbreader folder /usr/local/apps/fbreader
Creating sh file with similiar content in the fbreader folder:
Code: [Select]
#!/bin/sh
export LD_LIBRARY=/usr/local/lib
expor QWS_KEYBOARD="USB:/dev/event0"
./fbreader -qws

Running:
error or exception are not appreared.
nothing happen

Conclusions
I think that fbreader cannot take some resources, but is not clear why errors are not appeared.

Any ideas how to check the issue?

Thanks,
Vladimir

Change wrapper script to like this:
Code: [Select]
#!/bin/sh
LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/local/lib QWS_KEYBOARD=USB:/dev/event0 ./fbreader -qws

The same =(

Hi,
I had already ported fbreader over GTK time ago, but I couldn't make it work (just like you)... see here!

http://code.google.com/p/dingux-code/downloads/list
