Setting CPU speed on A380 (jz4755)
« on: December 01, 2013, 12:04:15 pm »
Does anyone have any information on setting the CPU speed on the A380?

I have the jz4755 programming manual and had a look at the A380 kernel code. There is some code there but some sections of it do not seem to match the programming manual (and it doesn't look like the code is actually used anyway).

Surely the A320's CPU code would be a good basis as the chips are pretty similar even down to similar memory mapped register addresses - though there is at least one register that I can see which is missing: REG_CPM_UHCCDR.

Anyone have any ideas?

Massively long bump, but I am just revisiting this issue.

Has anything further come to light in regards to setting the jz4755 CPU speed?
