Title: Prototype Version Firmware ..?
Post by: Girl on August 14, 2013, 03:01:25 pm
hi everyone , um I have one of the prototype versions of the A380 and I was wondering if there were any updated firmwares for this version.

I remember a long time ago that people were saying the prototype versions can't use normal A380 firmware because they have a different kernel or something. I am just wondering if there's some way to upgrade the firmware now , like maybe since it's been so long someone has made like a custom firmware for the prototype versions now? wishful thinking probably

thank you so much and by the way I love this forum a Lot . I've known about this forum for like years but I've only started posting today mhmm

aw but look ?

No, this firmware will not work on prototype which had nand-chip inside instead of later sd-cards. Nand-chip requires different kernel.

they're saying it won't work, did you try your's on a prototype A380 ?

anyone on this thread please be careful updating firmware yet, i'm trying to find out for sure if early adopters that have A-380 prototype model can even use a custom firmware or if this will just brick the device
