please AlienGrey Adapt DOOM , the engine is the same i think

I'll try to compile it for the Dingoo A-380/A-320e later if nobody else already did it. I want to port the last remaining ZX81 emulators first.

Coccijoe is the porter of Hhexen and Hheretic.. but he did not ported DOOM.. i think the engine might be different or he might be busy... but he can give some usefull information....

EDIT: Doom has ported by Alien Grey recently....

It's not impossible to add but it's beyond my knowledge.  ;D

It makes me wonder why there isn't a save/load for dingux-int when all other emulators from ZX81 have it.

Hi! I encountered a little trouble about my small fruit the A380's DCAstaway emulator my bios "ROM.img" because it does not recognize the bios is 0.87, it can not be used

Hi donpachiSLK.. i read this in Alien Grey's firmware thread... so the solution is here..

bios file name should not be "ROM.img"... you have to delete the extension... so it must be just "rom"...

There's an update for the SDL Super Nintendo emulator.

New in this version:

Sample rate is changeable from gui (off, 8192, 11025, 16000, 22050, 32000, 44100, 48000)
Config is saved for each particular rom.
To enter the menu press "SELECT" + "START".
Display Frame Rate is disabled as default.
Full Screen as default.

Download SDL Super Nintendo: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/525714/Open-Source%20Emulators/snes_emu.dge.zip

Note: The emulator pack has been updated with the new version.

Hello guys, I am new but really enjoy the Dingoo had the 320 but upgraded to the 380 and was wondering when you say internal memory does that mean I have to take my Dingoo apart OR when i hook it to my PC it shows TWO removeable hard drives one is the U card I assumed and the other is my memory card.

If so can I put these emulators in the Game folder on the U Card one and the emulators will work?

Is the NES emulator better than the original one?  When i hook it to my TV the original is so slow and the sound is so bad it is hard to play some ZELDA!

Thanks I really love this board and Alien and co seem to be some really good guys!

The internal MicroSD card is called memory and the external MicroSD card is called mmc.

You have to update the firmware with the CFW to use the new SDL emulators. The emulators should be put in the emulator folder on the internal MicroSD card. You can do that if you connect your Dingoo A-380 to your computer.

In the emulator pack you'll find a folder Internal MicroSD. These emulators should be copied to the internal drive by connecting the Dingoo A-380 to the computer. The emulators from the External MicroSD folder can be copied to your MicroSD card on your computer or when you connect the Dingoo A-380 to your computer. I recommend to copy them from the computer straight to the MicroSD cards because it's a lot faster.

The SDL NES emulator is perfect but you can't use it to play on TV. None of the open-source emulators or games can be used to play on TV.

Thanks for the reply Alien, so updating the firmware with the CFW does that require taking the Dingoo apart or can I do that just plugged into my PC?

I am still learning, Alien if I may ask has anyone tried to port MUGEN over to the Dingoo A 380?
I have a MUGEN char list of Marvel and DC superheros that is ridiculous.

Also do you think they will ever make a good NES emulator you can play on the TV with the wireless controllers?

Probably not. There are only like 3 people who care about the gAy380.

Uhm ok, I like it better so far than the A320, it may not have Dingux but I imagine eventually it will have all that crap and controllers so you can hook it to the TV.  The CPS2 roms work right out of the box ony the 380 my 320 they did not some reason?

Really pointless comment. Lately there has been a lot of development for the A380...

Anyway, M.U.G.E.N. is not open source, so you'll have to ask the original developers. There's OpenMugen but it doesn't look too primising (latests update from 2009 and it looks far from playable).

A380 DOES have Dingux, but a really old and modified version. I didn't understood the last question, but both consoles run different emulators so they have different compatibility.

(I can't help but make a trolly comment on the A380 board every now and then. :P)

I thought it was just Alien Grey recompiling existing A320 Dingux stuff with varying success.

Anyway, it's overpriced and made by shady, incompent, underhanded people. Overall inferior. People should stop buying it and giving those douchebags money.

I don't know if there's ever going to be a good NES emulator to play on TV.
