Supply and demand, and keeping food on the table man.

Or squeezing all they can since people don't have to pay for software...

Received pictures of the Gcw clones, the look not inferior to the "official" ones,
Even better bezels...
Then buy one and see how much support from the scene it gets(if you get any at all). Probably as much as your a380 does.

That sounds cool. Does the new firmware finally comply GPL? If so, I might port a couple of games to it :)

My friend, that's a rumor like "one chinese guy said". Don't spread unverified information, this may turn to be total lies.

http://koho.en.alibaba.com/product/673472463-209852179/4_3_inch_handheld_game_player.html

What i hate is those poor quality lettered painted buttons,
Not good at all,

Also

Select start too close to action buttons,
Analog too close to directional pad

That's why I said "rumors". We'll soon enough find out if it's true or not.

Given everything for a380 was taken from our a320 - i'd say everything your console can plus more :)

in fact, each and every emulator or game we have in our a320/a320e/a380, authors did not build them for a single console.. thats why we have all of them.. ;)
most of them were there before this china revooolution.

No I haven't. But now tell me - where did you get the software (emulators) for your A380 from? A320 ports. Now, who's the author of the A320 ports and who originally took the effort to compile and optimize them? We. Now why do you think we wouldn't do the same for GCW? I am sorry to tell you this, but A380 lacks talented developers who would support it. It is just a bastard console with a quick stitched together Linux port made by the chinese, with no source code released to develop it further.

What I believe is going on here is you taking this all on a personal level. Instead of checking the forums for opinions, you decided to risk and a buy A380. It turned out to be a crappy device. Now you try to unload your frustration on the community of devices that have developer support. This thread of yours only seems to support my theory. You lack technical knowledge and try to attack GCW for the sole reason of it having better hardware and community focus.

Please understand that your attitude is only hurting the A380 community, especially Alien Grey, who despite the lack of experience tries to bring new software to this device. You should be grateful for his devotion to the case, instead of trying to badmouth GCW and our community.

I love my A380 , and don't like the Gcw at all, for many reasons,
Why is this such a problem for you? :o

I never even posted on the gcw forums, nor plan to.
