Hi all,

sorry for disturbing the forum (although it looks quite abandoned)... :)

Just got my A380 in the mail today and I got to tell you, it amazes me how the Chinese can have a good idea and crap all over it. The A380 is pure garbage when used stock from the factory. Emulators are slow on the handheld, and bottom-line useless on the TV. Wasted my money on the controllers, since there is no way to use it as I intended (as a console, plugged on the TV).

Should have listened to Alien_Gra(e)y and Santo and all the others and have had myself ready for the CFW.

As for the CFW, is there any way to install it withou the MicroSD? I know they cost peanuts these days, but did not want to pony up some more money into something that doesn't seem to be going well... :/

Will it be at least playable with it? I could not play NES's SMB2 on this thing... :/

Really disappointed, but hey, what did I expect on a 100 bucks china thing that was supposed to do everything?

Alien Grey's New CFW allows you to use a lot of new emulators along with default ones..
yes it is worth to buy a memory card and install new firmware.. but dont expect any improvement in tv out.

a380 is very good device to emulate on its own scrn.. but unfortunately not with TV.. :(

Default emulators(comes with the console) works on the TV screen with CFW also.. non default emulators dont run on TV screen..

ppucci - would you mind elaborating a little bit more? Do you mean that the controllers were useless because of the slowness, or because they simply didn't function with the device at all?

Anyone else know if the F16 controllers have other functionality - e.g. use with a PS3 or Xbox as a wireless controller, or set-up wirelessly with Mac or PC to be used as a gaming controller?
