SmsGGOO Version 3.2

Hi all,
Here is the new version of SmsGGOO

What's new :
Quote
V3.2 : 29/11/2009
  # fix timing problem with accurante frame timing
  + add action replay code management
  + add fps display

V3.1 : xx/xx/2009 (not official release )
  # fix malloc/free pb to avoid hanging when lauching a second game

You can download the .SIM file here : SmsGGOOV3.2

Put SmsGGOO.SIM in your GAME directory. Put your .SMS and .GG games where you want.
Use "Interesting game" from Dingoo menu and choose your .SMS or .GG files, the emu will launch with the game ;)

Nice release! Runs great! I'm having trouble getting gg games to run full screen or aspect. The scaler works on the sms games though.

Hummm.  I could never get ANY .GG games to even read or be seen, I had to change them all to .SMS

Maybe this version can see .GG files and the earlier versions couldn't?

Anyway, good work, Alekmaul, I'll have to grab this when I'm not at work.

Yep, fix pb with scaler, just reload zip file, sorry about that ....  :'(
Kalisiin, previous version can see .GG file, don't know why you say that (v3.0), just take a look at readme.txt to see changes.

It sees my gamegear and sms files. It runs great! Scaler works perfectly now  :D

Never saw mine.
I changed all my .GG to .SMS and then they worked.

I have never INTENTIONALLY updated Jukebox...it does it automatic every time I unplug from USB.

I have no idea if this is related to the emulator but I just tried out both the US and Japanese Game Gear ROM's for Aladdin.

I get to the second stage and suddenly the jump button just stops working! :o

It's right after Aladdin and Jasmine leap from the first roof to the second.

I remember playing this game on my Game Gear back in the day and I know it was possible to get past this stage.

The SMS version, which is essentially the exact same game, works fine so far.

Haven't had a chance to load the previous version to see if it works there...

Kaslin yes I was talking to you. Even though it says updating when you unplug it it doesn't always update everything. Whenever something is not working as designed I update the jukebox and it works.  Might not matter now since you renamed your files but try that next time.

Hellblaze I have not encountered that error when playing aladdin on gg or sms. I only tried the us versions though. Maybe it is your rom set.

First of all, i'd like to say that i love this emulator. The video rendering is excellent.

I have just found a little bug : Sound is distorded, at least in Game Gear Emulation. It's like there are some missing patterns in the sound. It's very noticeable in GG Shinobi for example.

I didn't noticed it in the very firsts versions of the emulator. I did noticed it in the versions which were too fast, but i thought it was because of this excess of speed in emulation that there was sound problems.

EDIT : Try Ayrton Senna's Super Monaco GP, it's not very beautiful  ;D

remax, i will check that. Perhaps it's because actually tempo is not very accurate regarding pb while waiting end of frame.
I saw pb with ayrton senna, i must check sega forums to see if this game is special or not.

 :'( shadow dancer for sms is not working for me, I try diferents roms, but all black screens when emulation starts, maybe a bios problem???
Did you think in Bios emulation?could be nice see the bios working in this emulator (mark III start for japanese games and sega logo for euperan-american games).


Anyway, the emuladors is awesome!excelente work. :D

P.D: excuse my english, is not too good, I am not demanding nothing, only sugesting....
