Interesting! I guess you can have both PocketSNES and this one installed if you use the app version of PocketSNES

PocketSNES is a very very good emulator, one of the reasons why i barely use dingux these days.

My time with this emulator has been pretty good so far, though the sound is a little grating at it's loudest... can we have a "percentage" sound system, instead of just numbers, if possible?

This is a small gripe though, I'm loving the added compatibility.  Everything seems to be running faster for me with normal CPU speed and transparency on than it did with PocketSNES.  On the few games I've tried so far anyway.

This emu looks great! I tested a couple of games and they run very well, the graphic enhancement is noticeable and performance as well. It would be good for it to have a ROM selector a la PocketSnes, so I can use both emus. If I rename the .zip files to .smc they load and run OK on DingooSNES, but they do not on PocketSnes. When I had PocketSnes as the SIM emu, I had one uncompressed rom that I used to load the emu and then select the rom I wanted to use.

Great job! I hope this emu can be ported to OD :)

Just found out that it can even play Kirby's Super Star!  ...Though the speed is about what you would expect from a Dingoo playing Kirby's Super Star's chip, expect to overclock it through the roof if you want to play anything at a playable speed. 1.43 BTW.

It even runs in v1.39. The speed is just as horrible, though.

Btw, it seems DingooSNES runs slowly in some games instead of skipping frames. I noticed this in Donkey Kong Country and Earthworm Jim. Frameskip is definitely turned to Auto.

Anyway, I think it is just amazing how much development is still going on with the Dingoo after 3 years. It keeps getting better ^^

I haven't seen any of that yet while playing, but I'll keep an eye out.  Maybe it's just version specific, IDK.

DingooSNES as I see it right now is superior.  It runs faster for me in almost every case, and has much higher compatibility.  However, keep in mind that you can still have both on your Dingoo since PocketSNES also has an app version.  You can make your own comparison then for your personal tastes. ;)

Games that do work with DingooSNES that are of important note:
Megaman X 2 and 3
Yoshi's Island (barely, extremely slow)
Kirby's Super Star and Dream Land 3 (same as with Yoshi's Island)

Here's a few games that will not work with DingooSNES, but will work with the latest version of PocketSNES:
Star Ocean (Graphics don't work, I'm guessing it doesn't support the chip.  PocketSNES just gained support for it.)
Secret of Mana (Garbled text everywhere)
seiken densetsu 3 (Same as with SoM.)

I am using the PAL versions of both games. They play in the original speed (although jerky) in PocketSNES, but run noticeably slower in DingooSNES.

Though I'm beginning to feel uncertain whether they were actually that slow on the original PAL console. It's been quite a few years since I played on a real Super Nintendo ^^

I think I'm gonna try this with a NTSC rom and a few other emulators.

It's a GREAT EMULATOR!

The graphic plugin is much better than pocketsnes.

Already, i have some games with glitches or unplayable:

RPM Racing : weird menus
Side Pocket : Music Stops in first stage

But other games now working:

R Type III (example)

You planned other versions or updates to this great port? Thanks!!!!
