Wow. Very nice. Would like to see those emus on the GCW.  8)

PCE runs pretty nice with some overclocking. Well done.

PS: May he wanted to refactor it first, before publishing the sources. Nevertheless, good move!

There's one bug with dingoo pce emu :

when setting full screen on and turning on vertical stretch, we loose the ability to display the menu.
osd (for volume for example) also disappears.

You need to reset the dingoo to exit.

If vertical strech is off, the 2 big red lines on the screen.

That bug appears at least with any R-type rom.

Anyway pretty solid release !

ok, the DingooPCE is a good emulator, these games runs at 35+- fps with the dingoo clocked at 400 mhz and audio at 22500:
Legendary Axe 2 (this game works ok. In Dingoo Hugo this game has graphical glitches).
Bonks 3 work Ok
Street Fighter 2 works!! sadly, the emulator only support 2 button joystick, not 6 button  :'(  (SF2 works with corrupted graphics in dingoo Hugo).
Air Zonk dont works  :'( (Works in Dingoo Hugo but with graphics glitches).
Super Star soldier works OK
Outrun works OK

Thanks Lion! Looking forward for PCE CD compatibility.

In fact Dingoo PCE does'nt seem to scale down games with a resolution greater than 320x240.

For example : R-type (either JAP ou US release) seems to use an odd 336x224 resolution.

When selecting fullscreen, you can see that the right part of the screen is cropped and the display is not scaled down.
You can also see two red borders on the top and the bottom of the screen.

When fullscreen is off, you can see that the whole background is red instead of being plain black (most visible with game running at standard 256x224 resolution like Outrun)

Like stated before, there's also a bug with turning on vertical stretch which make all osd and menu vanish. I can confirm that the bug only occurs if fullscreen scaling is set to hardware.

If you first select software, then turn on vertical strech and finally swith back to hardware, the emu freeze.

thx lion :)I'm so glad to see your new emu, great work

there have a small problem about dingoosmd roms extension...
can add .md extension support?
and about .bin extension.. it conflit with O2's roms,O2's roms use .bin extension..so that O2 emu cant work..

i see you port a col emu..why not port one ws/wsc emu for dingoo?that will be great, there has no one perfect ws/wsc emu on dingoo :(

Since lion_rsm emu support zip renamed to another extension, i think you should just rename your zipped rom to an extension that does'nt conflict with anything else.

I personnally use megadrive rom with .md extension, zipped and then renamed to .smd and it's working great.

You could use a batch file in order to perform that task so here you are :

https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/69681052/%23dirsort.zip

You just have to run the file dirsort.bat included in the zip a nd choose a task.
It won't format your C: drive and it's virus free !

You could also try that modified file : https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/69681052/DingooMD.sim

I hex edited DingooSMD.sim and replaced bin extension with md extension. I didn't test it so i'm not sure it will work (due to the smaller amount of character) but it may worth giving a try.
At least, there should'nt be anymore conflict with o2 emu .bin extension.

You should also give a try renaming your o2 .bin file to .o2 extension. It's working for me.

Hope you will find it usefull.

At first oldscholl mode was meant to play without allowing saving (like in the "true old machine"), but in last versions, lion_rsm added saving so i don't really the difference anymore.

dingooSMD support sega-CD roms..but music cant run..mp3 format music cant play..

by the way..if lion really stop his great work for dingoo?that will be a bad news..
i hope lion will keep on his work...the pce emu does not perfect...and ws/wsc emu has not be port...
hope lion will release his new DEP before long..
